WHO WE ARE

Palmer Construction Company, Inc. began in 1964 as the tireless effort of Bernard Palmer. Working in southwest Virginia, southern West Virginia, and eastern Kentucky, Bernard skyrocketed Palmer Construction Company to one of the most celebrated and reputable electrical companies in southwest Virginia. In 1994, Eric Palmer took over as owner and operator, while still working side-by-side with his father.

Palmer Construction Company began as a high-voltage construction company building new transmission lines for coal and gas well companies. While we still do high-voltage electrical work, we have transitioned to a fiber optic specialty company in recent years. We work primarily in southwest Virginia, but have completed projects in eastern Kentucky, eastern Tennessee, northwest North Carolina as well as the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. 

Our core principles were set forth by Bernard when he started the company and continue today by Eric. As a company we always strive to be the best; not only to our contractors we serve, but to our employees and the communities that surround us.
